VIRUS - character designs

Back in 2022 I was hired to make character designs for a short animation called VIRUS, which appeared in Capsules S2 on the Chinese video platform BiliBili. Animated by Bunker VFX. Produced by Straightfire studios.

It's basically about two robots, #5 and #7, trying to survive in a robot zombie infested city. This was an interesting one, cause the project consisted of a lot of different nationalities, with people being in different countries working together. Definitely a challenge on a language level and a cultural one. Things that make sense to me, as a western European native, might not translate well to a Chinese artist, or one of the Serbian animators. Learned a lot. Plus I got to work with a bunch of cool people.

Sadly the animation is, for now, geoblocked and can only be watched in China, so I added a couple of screenshots.
